Retrieve a Report Using Report History

What is Report History? #

Report History is a list of all Reports generated by the logged in user. This includes reports ad-hoc report runs or reports generated by a schedule. Report History is also where a user can download exported reports.  Report History is available for the last 63 days and is then purged.

Getting Started #

This document provides the instructions for using Report History.  Before you begin, please ensure you have the following:

  • Credentials to login to ISI Analytics
  • The “Report Admin” or “Report User” role is assigned to your user
  • At least one Report has been generated by the user

View Report History #

  1. Login to ISI Analytics
  2. Once logged in, browse to the Report History page by clicking the Report History menu option from the navigation bar
  3. The table will contain the list of all ran reports for the logged in user

Re-run a Report #

  1. Follow the steps above to browse to Report History
  2. Locate the Report in the list, optionally using the search bar to filter the results
  3. Click the  Button on the right side of the screen under the Actions heading

Download an Exported Report #

  1. Follow the steps above to browse to Report History
  2. Locate the Report in the list, optionally using the search bar to filter the results
  3. Click the  Button on the right side of the screen under the Actions heading
  4. Your download will begin and a progress indicator will tell you when it is complete

Delete an Existing Report #

  1. Follow the steps above to browse to Report History
  2. Locate the Report in the list, optionally using the search bar to filter the results
  3. Click the Button on the right side of the screen under the Actions heading
  4. The Report will be removed.  This does not remove the Template.

Get More Information About a Report #

This will include information about how the report was requested, when it was generated, and what date range it was filtered for. Also if you need help with a report, the Trace ID allows Support to investigate an issue for you.

  1. Follow the steps above to browse to Report History
  2. Locate the Report in the list, optionally using the search bar to filter the results
  3. Click the Button on the right side of the screen under the Actions heading
  4. A dialog box will open with details about the report
  5. Optionally, click the Button to copy the Trace ID to your clipboard
