Report Portal Overview

The Report Portal is used as an alternative to emailing reports. This is used to work around the fact that many email systems limit the size of email attachments. It is also used because some clients don’t feel emailing reports is secure. Instead of receiving an email with an attachment the user receives an email notifying them they have a report. The email includes a link to the Report Portal where they can then view or download their reports. There are two ways to access Report Portal Reports

 

First Method #

Click on the link provided in the email the report recipient received.

Second Method #

If the recipient has a cloud portal account with login credentials

  • Log into the tool
  • Select Reporting in the Menu
  • Select Report Portal
  • Select the desired report to view

 

From the menu you can:

  • Delete the report from the cloud
  • Preview the report
  • Download to your system

 

​​​​​​​Important Information #

  • Users only see their own report portal reports, no other users report.
  • Users can only see Report Portal Reports. This does not include emailed attachment reports.
  • Global default retention for Report Portal Reports is 30 days. This can be requested as a global change. Please reach out to customer support to change the global setting.
